FILIPINA
This hyper-realistic model served as the centrepiece of my Final Major Project during my time at Middlesex University. The primary motivation behind this project was to celebrate and share my Filipino heritage, spotlighting its rich traditions and cultures through the medium of 3D modelling.
This undertaking proved to be one of my most demanding projects, as it encompassed a multitude of intricate elements. These included real-life sculpting, hair simulation, achieving lifelike renderings through the use of Sub Surface Shaders, and cloth simulation.
The character was meticulously crafted based on a real-life model, which I sculpted using ZBrush. The clothing was expertly designed using Marvelous Designer, while the intricate hair detailing was accomplished through a combination of ZBrush and 3Ds Max. Finally, the striking render was achieved using Keyshot.
